2024 Predictions

As 2024 gets underway, the planet of lessons, delays, and withdrawals, Saturn, is finishing its third and final pass through its retrograde degrees. I say withdrawals because Saturn doesn't add unto, but he feels like he takes away or withdraws something and makes you wait. You might interpret this as something bad. So, we call Saturn a malefic planet.  Thee degrees Saturn transited through three times took nine months to get through. But now you know what to expect, and you get another chance at fixing things and getting them right. You know all about coincidences, dreams, confusion, feeling neglected, losses, and how you trip yourself up, what you avoid, or how you neglect yourself.  Saturn was last at 3°-6 degrees Pisces (where he'll transit in January 2024) in April and August 2023. This was the first decanate of Pisces, which Pisces ruled. So, everything Pisces represents, you might have experienced through Saturn. For instance, increased intuition, sleepiness, imprisonment, isolation, crimes, sorrow, escaping, drugs, delusions, conspiracies, and the story behind a matter and personal limitations. What was going on with you or your life then?  During January, Saturn makes his last pass through 3°-7° degrees Pisces. The good news is Saturn gives you a break by entering new degrees and not repeating any degrees between 7°12’-12°40' in his retrograde cycle from Feb. 7th to Mar. 19th, and you'll have the wind at your back with all the planets direct and Saturn not repeating any degrees. If you have your natal Saturn between 7°12’-12°40', you're lucky! If you have your natal Saturn between 12°40' - 19° 25', you're lucky too because Saturn will be in the 2nd decanate of Pisces, which Cancer rules. The focus is on peace of mind, staying calm, and emotional well-being.

Pluto will re-enter Aquarius, where he transited in late March and ushered in AI, artificial intelligence. We say the use of drones in battle, found out there are diamonds on Uranus and Neptune as the James Webb Space Telescope continues to redefine our ideas about the planets and space. In Aquarius, Pluto uncovers your genius and ability to invent things when needed. Perhaps During Pluto's transit of Aquarius, the length of your life will be lengthened as we already see that AI has proved it can do things we can't.  It has already been used to synthesize novel drugs and design new materials with properties that make them robust and stiff to support the construction of bridges and buildings. AI algorithms have provided real-time feedback and control of stratospheric balloons for weather forecasting. The downside is that it's also used as mind control to steer you into thinking a certain way, collectively stirring people up to distrust their government, rallying around an individual, and getting you to buy things. That doesn't make technology good or bad. Like everything created by humans, it has good and bad in it. AI might be instrumental in curing many diseases in just a few years. Pluto re-enters Capricorn to finish breaking down structures, corruption, power brokers, buildings, bridges, and things you got too used to. Oh my! Pluto wants things to be more egalitarian and fair. So insurance companies, banks, and frankly anyone who holds all the money will eventually change, but not overnight.

All in all, you're just another brick in the wall. Pluto rules manipulation, control, rejection, death, and rebirth. So, even if AI tried to control the population collectively and manipulate groups, it might not work. There can be a rebellion against such dastardly deeds. People will rise against being controlled and not given the representation they pay for through taxes.

I am reminded of Alice Copper's song Another Brick in the Wall.

All in all, it's just another brick in the wall."

Uranus will resume direct motion in earthy Taurus, where he is considered in his Fall. That means Uranus doesn't like being in Taurus.  What does "Fall" mean to Uranus?  Taurus rules money, greed, luxuries, jewelry, expensive things, and riches. On the one hand, Uranus is too detached to care about such things and is more concerned with the big picture, the planet, friends, and what's good for everyone. That's one angle. The other angle is Uranus can be obsessive. When Uranus sets his sights on being right or getting something expensive, he uses his genius, ingenuity, and penchant for making friends and networking to the top as ways to a means. Uranus doesn't stop until he gets what he wants.  So, in 2024, we'll see financial scandals and people who seemingly rise to the top and then lose everything.

Neptune transits through the last decanate of Pisces, which determined, secretive, and mysterious Scorpio rules. Neptune seeks to dissolve or distill things. Scorpio like to merge. Neptune changes how you think and feel and sometimes your very nature by heating your etheric field, removing your protective outer layer and your ingrained boundaries, and mixing you up with the spirit world, the cosmic influence, worlds, or even people that are different or alien to you. In March 2025, Neptune will enter Aries and leave the sign he rules for a more fiery experience. You might try to merge or be a part of someone's life or some new experience or group in 2024.

The Lunar Nodes are in Aries and Libra, which makes merging your independent self and freedom with others or another difficult.  The big transit here will be in May when Mars enters Aries and connects to the North Node. That's a lot of testosterone energy that could fuel rioting and looting. Mars will connect to Neptune in late April, which is a death or a loss, and then all hell breaks out.
