Virgo: (Aug. 24-Sep. 23): As your astrology horoscope month begins Virgo, the pressure to get ahead and live your hopes and dreams is alive and well. All the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) are facing life changing situations that call for drastic re-evaluations and life changing transformations eventually; the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) are facing similar challenges with the karmic lunar nodes temporarily blocking progress from time to time; while the mutable signs Gemini (Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) are recovering from over the top Jupiter in Gemini which could have made them too nervous to make a quality decision.  This month Virgo and Virgo rising re-evaluate relationship issues, and take ownership and responsibility for their words and actions and the effects they have on others.

In June planet Mars, ruler of activity, initiative, drive and all things masculine has entered the fast paced sign of Gemini, ruler of youth, innovation, communication, and rapid change.  Mars is the natural ruler of Virgo’s 8^th house of power, challenges and joint finances.  In Gemini your solar 10^th house of power, and authority Mars along with Pallas makes you aware that it’s impossible to take something back after you say it.  And a promise made has to be a promise kept.  Your valor and fearlessness, gets you noticed at work as once again you rise to the occasion and save the day.  More than any other sun sign this month Virgo has to meet challenges ahead on, because everyone is watching what you are doing or not doing.  Things could begin to move very quickly this month.   An eye towards starting new endeavors and going in completely new directions has everyone trying to make alliances, deals and agreements.  That being said it’s also important to note that the month starts in a waning Moon cycle, so moving forward too quickly could have you running into  Neptune _RX as it’s about to go retrograde in Pisces until Nov. 13^th from 5°33’-2°.34’ on Jun.07.  This could temporarily derail plans and remind you that mistakes can easily be made if you proceed too quickly.  As Neptune retrogrades in your all-important 7^th house of personal relationships it’s time to take off your rose colored glasses and realize your significant other, friends and partners are not perfect or as strong as they want you to believe.  Virgo has to be kind and tender to someone in need this month.  Take your time, iron out the details and start everything with The New Moon in Gemini 18°01’on the Jun.08 for better results. The new moon in Gemini your solar 10^th house of success and high achievements could lead to an award or promotion.  You’re making progress on the job so don’t falter now.

The desire for more personal and emotional security begins when Venus in Cancer and aspects both Pluto and Uranus.  Insecurities both emotionally and financially can no longer be endured.  Many of you could reach a breaking point in your personal or professional lives and the argument in your head about throwing in the towel starts all over again.  Venus the ruler of your solar 2^nd house of money and accumulation in your solar 11^th house of hopes and dreams opens the possibility of a move, or purchase of a new home.  It could be time for you and your live in lover to find a place that belongs to both of you. 

As Mars aspects Pluto and Uranus you‘re more apt to start off in a new direction for appearance sake, make it look like you’ve walked away from the past.  Inwardly you’re haunted by the past though and it’s still inside of you. If Mars makes an aspect to your Natal Birth Chart you are more likely to abruptly end a relationship or quit your job. Mars is very active in your 10^th house of power, authority figures and ambitions but as it aspects Uranus and Pluto some of your decisions could be questioned.  Guard your reputation at all costs.

On Jun.23 the Full Moon in Capricorn 2°10’is called the Full Strawberry Moon, June’s full Moon with be a “Supermoon,” meaning it coincides with the Moon’s perigee, or closest point to the Earth, making it larger in appearance and causing exceptionally high tides. It is also be the closest Full Moon of 2013.  The Super moon in Capricorn your solar 5^th house of love, romance, children and talents could have you mixing business with pleasure, or planning a fun time with co-workers.  It’s time for Virgo to hob knob with higher ups and impress.

On Jun.20-21 depending on your time zone it’s the Summer Solstice as the Sun enters Cancer and this marks the half-way point through 2013. It’s the Summer Solstice in the Northern hemisphere and the Winter Solstice in the Southern hemisphere.  The sign of Cancer rules whatever affects home, land, property, family and your past traditions. The sign of Cancer also rules dependency, heredity, personal space, your psychological makeup, privacy,   accumulation and whatever you hold emotionally close.  With the planet Mercury in Cancer you start to think about all these things logically.  For many this could mean a move or a move away from dependency upon others. The Sun in your solar 11^th house of friends, live in lovers, ex’s, hopes and fears, you could have new and old lovers on pins and needles, as you never actually leave old lovers, you make them your friend.  Jealousy and jealousy outbursts could be common. 

Jupiter the planet of expansion and growth enters Cancer on Jun.25.  Check your free Natal Birth Chart for the symbol of Jupiter j.  As Jupiter transits through the signs it still influences your natal placement of Jupiter.  As Jupiter transits your 11^th house it’s time to socialize, make your home a place to have friends over and to get out more, regardless of what anyone thinks.  Don’t live your life imprisoned by another’s insecurities.

As it does about 3 times per year Mercury _RX, retrogrades in Cancer 23°06’ on Jun.26 until July 20^th direct at 13°30’ Cancer.  It’s a time of reflection and planning; a time to revise, revisit and redo things you’ve already set in motion.  It could be that plans you make now, reach into the future.  When Mercury goes direct at 13°30’ Cancer it’s within 1° of Uranus’s retrograde degree and another Uranus-Pluto Square in April 2014.  Mercury’s retrograde influence on you also depends upon the condition of your natal Mercury.  If you’re born during a Mercury retrograde period, you already are far more observant than normal.  It’s best to slow your thinking process and be much more observant during Mercury retrograde.  Mercury is your ruling planet and as such its transit is important to you.  It rules your 10^th house of career, status and reputation.  As mercury retrogrades in your 11^th house it won’t always be clear to you what you’ve achieved so far and benefitting from a career and your personal successes, is delayed. Call for more details!
