Capricorn: (Dec. 22-Jan. 21): As your astrology horoscope week begins Capricorn, the Sun enters Gemini ruler of the 3rd house, and ruled by the planet Mercury, which is also in the sign of Gemini. The sign of Gemini rules transportation (cars), communications, brothers and sisters, adapting to change, cleverness, and influences the weather, especially the winds. In your solar 6th house of work, your highly competitive nature arises and you have to be a force to be reckoned with on the job, with co-workers and physically. Since the sign of Gemini dominates intellectually you will take every advantage to win suing brain power. In other words Capricorn out thinks the competition this week.
The great socially transforming Uranus- Pluto square occurs but this time around Uranus is direct and Pluto RX retrograde. As the planet Mercury (the lower octave of the planet Uranus) sextiles Uranus it tells us that change is going to occur swiftly, almost instantly and decisions will be made hastily and possibly without weighing the consequences, costs or aftereffects. This sextiles offers an opportunity to go in a different direction while the Uranus- Pluto square forces a decision, but you need to think carefully before you act. In your 1st house Pluto gives you lots of energy to spare. Uranus in Aries though is the motivator, and Capricorn is motivated by family for good or bad and by self-sufficiency and independence for good or bad to achieve more and try harder.
It’s important to know your Natal Birth Chart and know where Uranus in Aries is transiting and Mercury in Gemini is transiting, as these will be the areas where things speed up in your life.
Horoscopes are great, but for a deeper understanding you should have your Natal Birth Chart with your time of birth. I’m just going to add a little note here; since 1932 by law the time of your birth was kept, and is archived in your states archives, a request for another birth certificate with a special request for the time will give you the time of your birth in the United States. Today the time is recorded digitally but that wasn’t the case even 10 yrs. ago, typically the time was recorded after the birth with all the other paperwork, so even your time of birth could be off by a few minutes.
On May 24 the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 4°08’ Sagittarius is going to be a firestorm of activity as it then squares the planet of illusion and self-deception Neptune in Pisces. That’s a lot of scrambling around. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse climaxes a cycle of activity that began one month ago. In your solar 12th house of spirituality, divine intervention, karma (good or bad) and seclusion, you could feel out of the loop or all alone in your accomplishments. For some of you this is an indication that you need a vacation, for others financial matters require your attention and others family matters cause inner turmoil.
