Something else is going on in the cosmos! Vulcan goes retrograde today at 26º Taurus. It is also where Uranus in Taurus (Fall) will come out of his shadow on May 17^th, and where the fixed star Scheat is! Vulcan is a hypothetical planet. During the 19^thcentury, astronomers theorized that a planet named Vulcan existed between the Sun and Mercury to explain irregularities in Mercury's orbit. Despite extensive searches, no such planet has ever been found, and the idea is now considered a scientific curiosity. In astrology, Vulcan is sometimes linked to the planet Mercury. Vulcan symbolizes the forging of a path forward and the transformation of one's personality through experience. In mythology, Vulcan is the Roman name for the Greek god Hephaestus, the god of fire, metalworking, and the forge. In certain astrological interpretations, Hephaestus/Vulcan is associated with Taurus and signifies the capacity to transform the material aspects of life.

Speaking of Mercury, Mercury is at the fated degree in Aries, about to change signs and enter Taurus tomorrow! That's another indication of how things can build up to and push you into action.

Cancer, a critical financial time that is underway, and when things won't feel so tight financially for you. Not that you'll throw the budget out the window, or not be thrifty, you'll still be searching for good deals and sales. Your financial condition is still complicated.
