Due to this, they usually marry well and will be unhappy if they marry beneath their social status.  The Bull is Taurus animal totem and astrological glyph.  Like their glyph the Bull, Taurus moves slow, deliberately, and steadily.   They are capable of great endurance, able to achieve long term goals.  They are stubborn and fierce when pushed and ready to go on the defensive.

The part of the body ruled by the sign of Taurus is the neck, throat, vocal cords, ears, and the senses.   This makes Taurus prone to sore throats, swollen glands, and colds.  This sign has a huge appetite and should avoid rich and fatty foods. 

Loyalty is premium to the sign of Taurus, and they can persevere, achieving the highest or most lofty goals.  Taurus can also be very stubborn, willful, headstrong, and are not known to forgive quickly.
