The Cardinal Air Sun Sign of Libra

 Libra Sun Sign

The Air sign - Libra

23rd September - 22nd October

Virgo    Scorpio

Libra is a masculine, positive, cardinal air sign.  The ruler of the sign of Libra is the planet, Venus.  The planet Mars is in his detriment in the sign of Libra.  The planet Saturn is exalted in Libra.  The Sun is in its Fall in the sign of Libra.  The balance of justice symbolizes the sign of Libra and is its glyph.  It’s the only Sun sign that has neither animal nor human representation.  The Sun is in the sign of Libra from approximately Sept. 23rd -Oct. 22nd.   During this time of the year, the Sun passes over from North to South declination, and night and day are equally balanced.  The Autumn Equinox.  In astrology, Libra rules relationships, marriage, partnerships, and in fact, these things are quite important to Libra.

Nonetheless, Libra can go for long periods of celibacy and alone time.  But when in a relationship, they demand a full commitment,  merger, and want to do just about everything with their significant other.  The sign of Libra as an air sign is intelligent, thoughtful, cordial, unprejudiced, seeing both sides of any issue and hates conflict.

The sign of Libra rules the lumbar region on your body, the lower back, and especially the kidneys. There's a love of luxury and quality goods inherent with the sign of Libra.  Good manners, tact, and peaceful relationships are highly desired.

The sign of Libra can weigh things so well that it's hard for him or her to come to a decision. They are notorious for being indecisive and changing their minds later on.  Many occupations include lawyers, judges, jewelers, buyers, retailers of luxury goods, court workers, and bailiffs.©
